This is not correct, as the TEMPerDll works nice, but the TEMPerHumDll is not working. I&amp;#39;m not sure, but it&amp;#39;s possible that the TEMPerHumDll is only working on the Temp/Hum unit and not on the Temp only unit. Apparently other people are having the same issue.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, I decompiled the software from the included CD and have written a very dramatically simple library to access the TEMPer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;ve already posted an initial version of this on my website (yes - the rest of the website is unrelated). I haven&amp;#39;t touched this code in ...</title><content type='html'>Hi Anonymous,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I haven&amp;#39;t touched this code in a while (especially since the newer TEMPer devices seemed to be a bit unreliable and problematic) but if you&amp;#39;re having issues accessing your COM ports, I&amp;#39;d try this:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Close Visual Studio&lt;br /&gt;2. Right click on your Visual Studio shortcut and click &amp;#39;Run as administrator&amp;#39;&lt;br /&gt;3. Try the code again&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Under Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 2008 (all of which now have UAC), Visual Studio will not necessarily have full access to your system&amp;#39;s hardware. As opposed to disabling UAC, try the run as administrator trick.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Good luck.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml'
